Hi folks,
just wanted to share the love for this great machine.
when i got it could update via usb and it was picking up the polar but it would run the plugin, stating that "please connect a Virus"
basically after much ado I just reset the virus after numerous updates, so an update wont reset it. you must go to logic control and restore it that way.
Then i ran the core audio drivers of the imac, after i got it working i put them to my external soundcard (saffire).
SHUT DOWN the machine, not restart. then boot up.
run logic/ ableton and make a hit record.
