Was wondering if there was a way to make a simplified virus driver. I think it would be cool to have the option to use the virus in a daw without the full virus control application. Almost like using the virus in stand alone mode, but also as a sound card. Thinking it could be similar to how novation did their xstation driver. It pretty much just routes the audio out of the xstation through the usb cable to the daw. It doesn't even use a midi track, just takes it straight to an audio track (you can still send midi data to and from the daw with the xstation if you want.) For me and possibly a lot of people who just use the virus in stand alone mode this would be a great option to have. It also may be more stable because it does not rely on a midi application to use.
