Any way at all to eliminate skipping in FL Studio?

    This has been upsetting me since day one and I'm about ready to just light my FL Studio box on fire. I am 100% FED UP with the constant skipping, crashing, sync issues when it comes to the Virus TI and FL Studio. I'm asking for some help regarding those issues because I can't get anything done with the Virus like this. I am sitting here trying to make a new lead and the Virus TI keeps going out of sync or just skipping notes entirely. I'm trying my very very best not to just break this entire section of the house in half. Does anyone have a fix?

    I'll have to hear what it sounds like to be sure, but I'm guessing it's down to a bad choice of USB port for the Virus. Try connecting the Virus to other USB ports and disconnect USB devices that are not essential to music making. The Virus streams its raw audio back to the plugin in real time so any other device compromising the bandwidth needed for this causes audible crackle.
