How to Automate Unison Controls?

Hey all

1st time poster, bla bla bla

Loving my t1 virus! I'm working on a tune where i have the unison mode turned off, but I really want to pan spread the chorus. To do this I would have to select twin mode etc and turn up the pan spread. Unfortunately these parameters can not be automated

Does anyone have a solution to this? I've already rendered it to audio and duplicated the track to pan left and right but it still doesn't sound as nice..

Any suggestions is greatly appreciated

pan spread does not spread the chorus but the oscillators. it is not a stereo widener effect but alters the position of the individual oscillators within the stereo field. try using the "stereo widener" instead. alternatively, use two parts. on one you set unison to twin, on the other one you leave it off.

you can link your 3 softknobs to 3 unison parameters and these can be automated
