I made a sound and saved it. Then loaded it and it sounded totally different? I think it is the soft knobs positions that did not save? Cant Virus save the soft knobs or am I doing something wrong here?

I've not tried but I'd assume this is true, given other patches.
It's also reasonable (I think) as they are performance controls, like the mod wheel. -
hmm I think that is very bad. Cuz thats a big part of fixing a sound to sound good. well I guess I have to stay away from those controls or maybe they can fix it!???

soft knobs are performance controls as much as the mod wheel is. when you make a sound and you want it sound in a certain way by default, don't use the soft knobs to shape it. you cannot assume that performance controls are in a certain position when you recall the sound unless you record this position as MIDI data to a track in your sequencer.
