Access Virus Ti Snow & Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 Problem (Cubase 8)

Hi I just recently bought a access virus Ti snow and am having a problem figuring out how to record in Cubase 8.0. I open the Ti Snow on a vst channel & then open up an audio channel and try to record but am having no luck. Is this because I have a cheap soundcard or is it because of my setting? The Access ti Snow is only plugged up through Usb and no connection to my soundcard.

I can guaranteed that it's probably your Focusrite! I had a Focusrite 2i4 and my Virus flat out never worked picked up a Steinberg UR22 and it works about 90% of the time now plus it should save you some money!

Just picked up 2 quarter inch wires and plugged it from the output of the virus to the front of my focusrite. Was told that would work but still not working. Will try playing around with it some more if not I guess I'll have no choice but to get another soundcard

Are you running Cubase 8 from Windows 8? I've heard there are A LOT of problems with Cubase 8 and any version of Windows below 8.

Having the same problem ...

and another problem: somethimes my PC doesn't recognize the virus USB ... when I reboot ... the problem is gone
