When using drag-n-drop in the sound bank browser it seems to not clear the previous used drag-n-drop patches. This makes it confusing in the GUI. Just double clicking the patch works as expected.
and a simple request that should make a huge difference...
Especially because the Virus has so many patches, add a proper patch history on each of the channels that one can assign. A drop down list of the previously assigned patches for that channel would make it easier to revert any miss-allocated patches on the wrong channel (this is why I tend to use drag-n-drop in the first place.)
