I am running protools 8.0.1cs1 on mac OSX 10.5. When I enable automation from the plugin and record the automation I get a weird behavior. Lets say I want to record cutoff on filter 1. So I enable it, set the automation to write on the instrument track and start recording the automation. Upon playback, the automation is played back super slow it barely moves, then just jumps to whatever default position it was in. Is this normal? Is it like synced to something that wont allow it to just record whatever I do? It is frustrating watching is slowly tick movement when I need a nice sweep.
