yes,but when i disable usb 3.0 nec on setup it works as usb1.0 and 2.0 but i suppose it should not accept any device such as usb memory or audio interfaces or other usb devices..and also i had sony vaio z series and i noticed that new intel series chipest for intel coreiX models have problem on usb connector even in new motherboard p55,p67,h57 and ...i tested many mainboard p55 series from many company asus, giga.evga, ecs, msi and other but they didn't work properly with usb 1.0 and 2.0 devices....
i have m-audio audiophile usb but it didn't work at 128 buffer size it happened also with my ti ..it made me to use dedicated pci-usb..

try use a clean windows os and just test 128 buffer size(not 128+safe) with your ti as a soundcard!!!
if it didn't work properly ,i recommend you to use dedicated pci-usb card... -
i don't know why when i disabled usb 3.0 on bios setup it's working..

Thanks for your reply. At least you got it working. Driver and software are installed fine but I can't even get VC to start up. It instantly bombs out telling me either midi device failed or cannot find Virus Ti. I am sure it is some sort of incompatibility. I am in touch with Asus about it now to try and narrow down the problem and hopefully come up with a fix for a future bios update, however, they are stating the problem may also lie in the drivers of the manufacturer and that they too may have to do some work to get things running smoothly which is why I started this thread, to see if anything could be on Access' end to get VC to play more friendly on USB 3.0 ports.
i have asus h57 evo ,what is yours?

Are there motherboards available that ONLY have USB 3.0 sockets on them?
i don't think so as i know they have usb 1.0,2.0 and 3.0
but new p67series have intel usb 3.0 instead of nec chipset. -
what is your ti model?

it doesn't matter
make sure that extra functions like onboard sound card, webcam, and other devices is disabled ...
and check how many bandwidth your virus is using on your usb root hub in device manager it should 73% -
default tutorial is coming with software suite and it works with snow...

1-rename one of standard banks to the my patches
2-try save button on vc to my patches bank
3-use vc browser select your patch bank and select it it should be on your list -
it depends on your system configuration and your system setup
check your system latency with dpc latency checker
http://www.thesycon.de/deu/latency_check.shtml -
as i recognized internal usb connection on the new motherboard has weird action..
try external pci-usb card.. -
for better understanding use init patch and select another osc type..and look the bars.
it's a dsp usage of polyphony -
try reset your ti..
first remove all cables except of power plug then press arp-edit button for 10 second and release it.. -
If you are using Vc Just right click on the knobs and then select add parameters...

if you are using standalone you will be able to select your input/output by your virus configuration regard to the Manuel ...
then with "input" preset on ram-rom A you can hear your audio input from your external hardware....
