Does it work (as a workaround) if you mute the kick instead of removing it so that it keeps on playing but it doesn't make any sound?

Bug? If Delay Type is set to TAPE CLOCKED, Soft Knob 3 can no longer be used to change "Modulation" amount in Delay page 3/3. The value can be changed with the Value buttons.
Switching pages ( going to page 2/3 should be enough) then going back to page 3/3 fixed it for me. -
Yes, it's also for the saturation types
-
Filter saturation amount is already there. On filters other than the analogue emulations, you engage saturation moving OSC Volume to more than 0. It will not saturate if OSC Volume is at 0 or less, and increasing from 0 you will get increasing amounts of saturation.
I seem to hear that the analogue emulations start to saturate a bit earlier, or at least the sound is already affected before OSC Volume reaching 0. -
Edit your link as it's corrupted

You can't disable the LFOs. You can however turn off all of their destinations both in the pre-linked ones and in the modulation matrix.
To "disable the detuning" turn OSC2 Detune to 0, and if you only want 1 osc (tipical "init" sound) turn Osc Balance to -100% -
If you're using the -init- patch you're not hearing LFOs, you're hearing oscillator beating due to the detuning between osc1 and osc2.

If it plays in multi-mode and not in single mode, just look at your VTI's display and you'll see an "empty" note - this means your MIDI controller is sending data on the wrong channel. Set it to channel 1 to play in single mode.
Multi mode and sequencer mode work differently and they're explained in the manual, they're different and behave in different ways.

What TIOS are you using?
-
Exactly, you have your MIDI routing reversed
-
Which I don't :p but that itself is a nice suggestion for rack users

This is something I've been thinking about quite a bit. As my Virus TI is my most expensive possession, and the single most valuable item in my house (unless you take into account the stove, but that isn't something that one could steal!); and it certainly does look like it's expensive, even to untrained eyes, making it a very easy prey if someone were to break into my house to burglarize it, I was wondering if there is the possibility to at least render it unusable if connected to a computer to ever update it. I know it's sort of unlikely that if a Virus TI was stolen the purchaser would probably know what he's buying and therefore even know if it's a stolen property or not, but I think it would be a good feature if the installer, which already checks for the S/N (there's a file on your computer named "Firmwareupdate Virus TI(number) (type) (SERIAL NO)", could stop working if it recognized a stolen S/N communicated to Access. (This is similar to attempting to register an already registered serial number).
What do you think? And, would it be feasible, or at least plausible? -

Multi edit, then scroll right until you find the settings for Low Key and High Key, which basically allows you to split/layer zones of the keyboard, at least on the Virus Desktop. I don't know if it's different on the Keyboard versions.
-
Yes! Downloading it right now. Then a bit of backup and installing.
-
The "big" versions (i.e. not Snow) are IMHO more suitable for live use because of the greater available polyphony. In studio you have multi-track recording, live you might want to use more voices than available on a Snow, depending on the type of sounds and layering and style you play.
-
You can split the keyboard in multi mode on the desktop too.
-
I take this as a direct answer to a thread on Infekted and bow down to Access.
Thank you. -
Thanks. I don't have the need to rack mine (yet?) but I needed to know that as the manual for the TI2 doesn't talk about it and I wanted to give a sure answer to a user on another forum.

Is the 0404 on a USB hub sharing its IRQ? Are you running your OS with some kind of energy saving plan? More info on the system would help now. Hardware, OS, Virus OS version...
