BC is Ben Crosland
@ is Matt Picone
HS is Howard Scarr
DF is Dominik Felsmann
MS could be Matthew Stolley but I'm not sure. Same way, M could be Manuel Schleis
BW should be forum user Bruce WahlerYou could download most of the sound sets in the support page, load them up in VC and see how the relative designer signed himself. I sign my patches with "31".

Not detailed, just open them up being very careful not to lose any parts and just switch the batteries with new CR2032 ones. Be sure to use the same precautions you would when touching a computer (anti-static wristband, general attention not to lose something inside it, not to touch connections, not to damage cables). Remember to back-up your RAM patches as they'll be gone as soon as the battery is removed from the synth.
On a side note: I can understand a battery from the KB going out, but a TI's battery should be only 4-5 years old and unless the unit has been disconnected from the electrical plug for ages I would think it has to be in pretty good shape. I only know of a couple batteries that died in a TI reported on this forum.

There's probably some INIT patch available in the original banks for the B.
You can find the manual in the main site, support>download>discontinued>manuals and tutorials

It seems very low volume and only present if FILTER BALANCE is set to about 0 in my case. It gets a bit louder if I press like 20 keys together, and it's audible only when OSC VOLUME is (surrealistically) low

Only parameters that won't cause artifacts in the sound. It would be better to have a choice to use them anyway IMHO but at the moment it's not possible to automate everything via VC.
-
There's only certain destinations that you can modulate, there's a complete list in the manual IIRC.
for the LFOs you have both the matrix and the free "ASSIGN" destination, one for each LFO.Also remember that some destinations have a more generic name than what you might think: to modulate the vowel, you have to select Freq Shifter Frequency, as the Vowel filter is the shifter section.
-
Have you tried (or can you try) using a different power plug in your house?
-
Yes, but it will affect the parameter "directly" (whilst, using the matrix, you can limit the range);
On the hardware, scroll the EDIT menu until you find the pages for the soft knobs (there are three pages labeled Soft Knob # (1,2,3)). You can then select a parameter to assign using soft knob 1 (Function As...), and a name to appear on the interface using soft knob 3 (Name). "Name" will only appear when a destination is selected.
In Virus Control you can find the same things under the menu labeled COMMON
-
I don't know in logic, but in other hosts you have to right click the knob in the UI, select "ADD TO AUTOMATION LIST" and then you can find it under "[#] Filter 1 Cutoff" (where [#] is the part number)
-
Multi mode > Multi edit > select the part you want to use on a different output > navigate the multi edit menu with the PARAMETERS<> arrows until you find the page with OUTPUT, TRANSPOSE, DETUNE.
Select the desired output using soft knob 1.

I only came to know this now. Forum member and fellow infected SpencerSteel has lost his battle to cancer on 5th December.
I don't know what to say, he was both a very nice guy and a very skillful producer. This saddens me quite a lot.http://www.deleteallcontacts.com/index.asp

You can find the folder path either in the manual or here in the forum, I'm not using Mac OS so I'm not sure what it should be. Once you have the patches in your "Patches" folder they will show up in both Virus Control Center (where you'll be able to burn them to ROM) and the Virus Control plug-in where you can use them in a project without installing them on the hardware or saving them up in RAM.
-
You have to use the "Burn to ROM" option, not the "Backup" one. That is for backup files, which have extension " .vtibackup".

Actually it sounds more badass through the other amp (which has a 12" woofer and it's even too bassy). The BX5a are cheap but get the job done. I'm saving up vor some VXT's though.

A quick update, no more in my room but in a common room of the house...
