Using "External Instrument" with Virus Snow in Logic

This seems like a useful way to create more than 4 tracks in Logic... Send to the virus midi channels, and also be able to 'Freeze' the tracks...

But can't seem to get it working... Tried the quick start pdf but didn't work...

Im using an RME Babyface for the audio.

When the VC plugin is up, the virus MIDI output is actualy the MIDI out port on the virus itself, so unless you connect another MIDI instrument to it, there is little use sending MIDI data there. The Virus Snow has only 4 parts, no matter how you try to trick it
