I've already forwarded info to FSecure, but meanwhile I've fixed the issue by excluding virus scanning of the VirusUpdater.dll.
Updated OS5 works fine in Cubase, although it feels as if I've lost some polyphony on the way...
Downloaded the OS5.0 beta installer for Windows 64 bit.
FSecure identifies the virus Gen:Heur:Loregun.1 in VirusUpdater.dll.

That does not mean it actually found a known virus, even if FSecure automatically removes the file. Gen:Heur says that the heuristics created an alert, because the behaviour of the file is suspicious. The reason is that the updater contains code for checking for a new Virus TI software version on the Access server and downloading it. That is obviously similar to what many viruses do.
This is a false detection, and it was a good solution to exclude the file from virus scanning.
