patches would not appear on virus control

    hey, i have recently aquired 2 soundsets, theyre both .mid files, added them to that dir: Documents\Access Music\Virus TI\Patches, closed my daw a few times even restarted the keyboard to default, still they do not appear when going to "load - > personal libraries".

    First check that you didn't put the files in the documets folder of the wrong user.
    The other possible cause could be that the patches came in the wrong MIDI file type (as many Virus C patches do). To solve it, load the patch MIDI file as a MIDI clip in your DAW and save it again as a MIDI file. Most DAW-s will ask you to choose a file type, and at this point I always forget, so I always create 2 versions: <original_patch_name>-type0.mid and <original_patch_name>-type1.mid (sometimes referred to as single vs. multiple track) and keep them in the same folder as the original. The only thing left to do is to load VC and see which file managed to be recognized.
