I've read somewhere that Virus TI has two processors, one is responsible for the odd-numbered parts (1,3,5,7,...) and one for the even-numbered. So, what you describe sounds like one of the CPUs isn't working.
But the correct answer is of course: contact Access support!
boreg, I'm not sure about that, from what I've read, the voices are allocated dynamically from whatever resource that is available at the time. If one of the DSP-s doesn't work it is more likely that the Virus doesn't finish booting up. But the fact is that we don't know what kind of Virus the OP talks about, and if it is stand alone or connected via USB in case of the TI.
@francisjaen77, can you supply that info?
The Virus Ti1 Desktop, and the Os is 5.0.3.00
I don't know what to do. I did everything, and nothing happens!
i think there is Two DSP and one of them is not working.
When i use Standalone is not working, only odd Parts are working also
does the problem persists when you remove all chords (including USB and power) from the virus for 30 seconds?
best, marc
Yes sir. I have rebooted the sistem a couple of times, and nothing... what i have to know is how to reset TOTALLY the Virus, i mean put the unit to zero...
please contact access support by email
thanks,marc
Settings can be reset to factory values by disconnecting power pushing down the edit button of the arp section, and while keeping it pressed, reconnecting the power supply. Re-burning the OS using the VCC utility might also help.
Tried, and not working.
Thanks
