Help on virus ti 2 set up in logic and how to bounce back into audio.

Hello to all the virus users.

I have a quick question on how to set up my virus ti 2 in logic using either USB or Midi port.

here is the break down of my studio equipment,

1. Software Platform : Logic 9
2. Main Synth Keyboard : Yamaha Motif XF 6
3. Virus Ti 2 desktop
4. Audio Interface : Focusrite 18I8

So right now i am using Yamaha motif xf 6 connected to midi port and it works well so far.

But my main problem is the virus ti 2 set up in logic and into the audio interface. I try to record my midi data into the audio but it does not work...

Does my problem related to usb port or logic environment setup ? I m really confused,

please if you guys know the ways to setup virus ti 2 in logic and bounce the midi data into the audio, I am even willing to pay and take tutorial from you guys

Hi - firstly, I may have misread your post, but don't forget you don't record MIDI data on an audio track!!

So, you want to record your Virus in Logic, yes? So, in Logic do this...

1 - Add a new Software instrument
2 - Select Virus (select number of tracks / output etc in the new software instrument window)
3 - Virus Control will open up
4 - Select up to 16 patches
5 - Record what you play
6 - Bounce project in Real Time (Not offline!!)

Voila!
