How can I replacate this Robot Transformer Sound at 2:25' of this video? Is it possible to do it with any VIRUS TI patch?
Thanks
Thanks Marc. What do you mean by soloing the sequences?
Cheers.
I have just bought Logic Pro X and am trying to bounce single VIRUS midi tracks into Audio Files.
In Logic 9 I used to be able to solo the single Virus tracks and bounce them out separately as audio files. In X when I click on a track and Solo it, it solos all the Virus tracks so when I bounce it, it bounces all the tracks ...
I have tried the Bounce In Place and Export as Audio File option by right clicking on the region, however these do not allow Realtime Bounce.
Any help on this matter would be much appreciated thank you
Thanks for the tips
I have tried the low saw wave sound with a low pass filter but it sounds too noisy and dirty.
I'm more after something clean not too overpowering...
I am trying to recreate the sound of a big spaceship passing by, like a nice low rumble but clean at the same time.
It's for a slow motion sequence of a video where you see a car slowly driving ahead
What are the best sounds to do this and how can I get this sound?
Thanks for your help
thanks.
Regardless, I would still like to know how I can do something similar with the VIRUS if possible.
Will try find samples from the Roland and Korg you suggested.. Or do you have any examples?
Cheers.
Hi,
I am working on a commercial and need to do a series of sweeps that build up some tension.
Here's an example of what I am aiming for. http://www.mediafire.com/?hp1q3646veimc13
Any suggestions on how to create these are much appreciated.
Thank you
ckd.

I have turned bluetooth off, however I can see a Bluetooth USB Host Controller there.
How can I disable it?
I have done all the above, including reducing Buffer size in Logic.
VIRUS is going straight into the USB port in the Macbook Pro.
I've disabled unused startup programs, purged memory, turned both bluetooth and wifi off.
Unfortunately the noise is still there.
Hi Heckmat, thanks.
Can you please explain how to purge my memory before running your daw?
Edit, the noise is present in single mode and multi timbral mode when a patch has a delay or reverb turned on.
We dont have anything else plugged in to any of the USB ports.
The TI2 is running on a 2011 Macbook Pro and we only get the noise when its in multi timbral mode and the patch is using a delay or a reverb.
Virus Ti Desktop USB noise & crackle issues.
My Setup: VIRUS TI Desktop, RME Fireface 400, Macbook Pro, Logic Pro 9.1.8.
I am using the VIRUS via USB.
When recording / playing a sound, it has got a noise and crackle which keeps going for a few seconds after the sound has stopped.
Test file here: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?lyjeto35fe32xa7
I have tested it via Analog Outputs and the noise was gone, so the issue is the USB connection.
Is this a known issue ?
How can I fix this?
Thanks.
