Do I have to backup my patches if I install new OS?

I Do Believe,,, (correct me if im wrong) Virus control and your PC/Mac will automaticaly back up your sounds in your Virus, if connected to USB to your computer!...

Mine does anywyay on Win 7... to my surprise... it was as i left it... pretty cool

Attention muzikman2008, this is not correct!

The RAM and ROM Banks of the TI will not be affected by reinstalling a computer OS, but all sounds in the "public libraries" of the Virus TI Control plugin in its BROWSER menu are stored locally on your computer and if these files are not backed up before reinstalling an OS, these files are gone for good!
So these files need to be backed up before wiping and reinstalling a computer - no matter if Mac or PC. However the directories for these patches is obviously different on PCs and MACs.

Windows:
Access-Music\Virus TI\Patches in “My Documents” folder

Mac:
[Macintosh HD] / [Library] / [Application Support] / [Access Music] / [Virus TI] / [Patches]
and
[Macintosh HD] / [Users] / [- your user account -] / [documents] / [access music] / [virus ti] / [patches]
