Hi,
I'm sorry if this has been posted elswhere already but it can't find the answer. Is there anyway that I can check the current voice count of the TI2? Especially handy when in multi-mode/sequencer mode.

Dear Stildo,
I'm sorry to say but there is no voice count or any other form which would show how many voices are currently in use.
Best wishes,
Jörg Hüttner
Hi
Jörg Hüttner,
Appreciate your reply. It's a bit of a shame I think.. Would be very handy..

If you are in fear of a certain part losing voices (a.k.a note stealing, such as with a along pad), you can raise it's priority from the multi menu on the panel interface or from the VC/VSTi by control-clicking the "direct" (or "D") button of that part.
I think that a nice upgrade would be to provide a Performance Meter like the one you have on Korg Kronos. This one shows graphically how many voices are sounding and you can see when Voice Stealing happens and with how many voices. There are also parameters to define the priority of the Program, just as we have with the Virus

Can note stealing cause clicking sound of the synth?
The clicking sound at the start of a note is controlled by the punch knob of the VC/VSTi. Turning down the knob value eliminates it. A clicking sound in a middle of a note is not a feature as in the previous case, and usually indicates that you have a USB bandwidth problem. It shouldn't happen at all on the line outs - if it does then it must be a HW fault.
Note stealing sounds just as if the synth received a MIDI note off, a while before it actually did.
