Anyone know where this documented? I'd like to see if it is worth creating a Lemur Template for this. I can see that it sends out Sysex data when you change Filter Mode for example.
Also, is there a mechnism to sync the data with an external controller, for example when you change banks/patterns?
I don't think the full sysEx list was ever published, but luckily it is backwards compatible with the C, for which you can find the list in the appendix here. For the rest you'll have to go by trial and error...
Regarding synching with a controller, can you give an example of what you expect?
Thanks flabberbob! In terms of syncing, I was thinking of when you change a single or multimode patch on the Virus, you can sync the parameters with Lemur. I can see that it is possible to request sysex dumps which could be used to trigger a sync but I assume that these dumps will be quite huge and at the moment the Lemur has a limit on the size of the sysex dump.:(

the parameter dumps are compatible (and if the same structure). the patch dumps of the TI are more complex.

cant you use Midi-ox to view the streaming sysex dumps in real time, and adapt the results?? just a thought. Not looked deeply into it as yet but saw the other day as i was messing with midiox you can do real time filtering??

Is this really so? That would be a direct violation of the MIDI-Manufacturer-Association rules concerning their provisioning of sysex-ids to manufacturers...

Thanks guys, I've had a closer look and it is quite simillar.
Since, Lemur currently doesn't work very well with large sysex dumps, I'll leave this for a bit.
It would be nicer if Access release an iPad Multi-Mode control to the TI
