Hi my virus is playing 6 semitones high up from middle c how can I change this ? Thank you for any help
Middle c is 6 semitones too high :(

Is it through VC, standalone, both?
-
Hi thanks for getting back to me its both unfortunately
To be more precise C is playing a D sharp so only 3 semitones -
If all the keys have the same transposition, I'd check the tuning control in the config menu and the separate ones for every part. If it's only for some of the keys, first I would try and see what notes are recorded in a MIDI track for each one of the keys, and how the synth responds to playing back those notes from the MIDI track.

Great ill try that

Hi it isnt the tuning control as it is set at 0 and if c is played on the virus d sharp is in ableton but if c is painted in ableton it will play c..any ideas ??
-
Also if I use an external midi keyboard rather than the one on the ti polar there is no problem at all ? Weird
-
To me it sounds like something is broken/disconnected inside...

Check the Virus audio clock. Go to Config -> Audio Clock, change the frequency to 48 kHz and then back to 44.1 (assuming you normally work at 44.1 )
hope this helps.

Ok I'll try that hope it works

how would it? the distance in between 44.1 and 48k is not 6 semitones at all. must be some sort of transposition issue.

Cant you just reset the Virus to factory defaults??? this will reset any transposition issues...
