Do you mean Dubstep? Or Reggae/Dub? Can you name a few bands or artists you want to emulate?
cheers,
EG

Sounds great! What monitors are those?
EG
Sorry, Marc, you are right, it was a cheap shot on my part. I had just had a long sequencing session using Live and my TI, over USB, and had so many glitches that I was feeling really frustrated with the entire setup. I think I will have to go back to using MIDI, it just worked and probably sounded better. Might even consider buying an Arturia Keylab synth, to use that as the first device over USB, with my Virus gear connected over MIDI. Sorry to say my old Emu USB 0404 doesn't seem to work with my new laptop, so I don't have a working MIDI interface, aside from the Virus gear.
Cheers,
EG
I think that's almost a moot point, given the number of problems people regularly experience with supported hosts...

I just checked my Dubstep sounds and there's a few similar patches in the Monster Dubstep pack from Ultimate X Sounds. Totally worth the cost, it's packed full of nasty and useful sounds!
EG
Have you guys had any synch issues with Bitwig? I can get it for half the price of Ableton Live 9, but I'd have to transfer all my recent work across and relearn a lot...
EG
There are a lot of tutorials on YouTube, for the TI models, some of those would be useful.
EG
Thought I'd have some fun and rebuild Blue Monday, from the ground up. Guess it's part Trapstep, part Dubstep and maybe even Trance, I'm not sure!
TI Snow - Bass, leads, pads
Ableton 8 - Sequencing
Zenhiser.com - Drum loops, atmospheric, fx

Sweet! Just wait until I get paid again!
EG
I haven't heard that in any of the Virus soundsets, but I definitely don't have all of them.
EG
I just checked my TI v1 and I only hear the left channel through headphones, out of either of the #1 outputs. I've generally found the output level from my TI to be pretty low, quite a bit lower than my Snow, which is weird.
EG
Great! Looking forward to some results! I've been tempted to try Bitwig myself, as it's going cheap, but I already have a handful of tracks in progress, in Ableton...
EG
Not familiar with Bitwig, but can you open the VST folder and drag the Virus TI into a new MIDI track? (Or a space that will create a new track for you.) Once you have a track for the VST, you can start to create separate tracks for each channel of the Virus. Takes a little bit of fiddling.
EG
What can you see? Did Bitwig create a MIDI track for Virus TI, when you opened up the VST? Are you able to open the VST and it shows the "Configuring Virus TI" page? Then the "Easy" oscillator/filter page?
Cheers,
EG
Oops, sorry, my mistake! Glad to hear it can be done! I'll read up on it, see how it works.
EG
No, you can't route audio in, into your DAW, through USB, it's only for audio processing through the Virus. You'll need something like a mixer or audio interface that has USB.
P.S: how are you liking the sounds of the Blofeld? Sounds like a good pairing with the Virus, but no USB is a bit of a nuisance!
Cheers,
EG
Do you mean your email address registered with Access Support? I imagine you can just email them, with your details and ask them to change the registered email for the account.
EG
Just purchased it, can't wait for the download and testing!
EG
What OS version are you running? Mac or PC?
A few people have had less issues on the 5.1.1.x Beta version...
EG
In the VIrus VST plugin, in a DAW? Yes, using the Browser window. Just in the Snow itself? No.
