I doubt Access would do something like this. For sure they would not put this feature. I wish they did.

I got my Moog Slim Phatty last week and it even has the ability to do 16 MIDI in. C'mon, Access! A monophonic synth even does it!

if you don't use virus control you can choose the midi channels in multi mode

Wouldn't that eliminate the ease of assigning automation though?

The main benefit I see from select-able MIDI inputs per part would be preserving automation and MIDI data on channels that you have recorded to audio to free up voices.

I suppose you could assign CC control data to parameters in the unit itself? I don't even know if you can do that via the hardware interface.

Which of course disables what I see as the most powerful part of the virus in the first place, the VST control.

ok if I use multi mode can I use it with the usb connection or should it be through the midi in and out

I want to know if I could use the hardware with out the VST AU software and use its 16 midi channels, is that possible or do i need to use the midi in and out of the synth itself.
