I wonder if there is another way to achieve the same result (demo attached).
Here, use of "Envelope 3" (Attack=0 - Decay = 127 - Release=80 - Sustain=127) in SLOT 1 assigned to Pitch+32.
With an LFo, anyone have a formula? Or by another means…

AFAIK is the release phase with pitch glide only possible with an envelope. An LFO in Env mode doesn’t have a controllable release phase.
You you could also try to use glide and, instead of just releasing the note, play the note of the target pitch. But that probably only works with monophonic sounds. So you would play the c4 and at the end of the c4 play a c2 which is reached by gliding there.
