I'm having issues with TI Software. I'm using Mac OSX 10.9.5 / Logic Pro 9
Midi Drivers Failed.
I reinstalled the software with no luck.
Any Help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hello,
I got exactly the same error when trying to install the new version 5.1.3. I have a MacBook Pro 13" Retina, late 2013, with Yosemite 10.10.3.
I managed to downgrade to 5.1.1, which BTW, works extremely well on my machine; close to perfect in fact. So everything is working again for now.
Any ideas what might be wrong?

Hi,
I'm also seeing this issue in Ableton Live, have contacted support as well.
Hi Guys. I've just updated Virus Control on both my iMac Retina and MacBook Pro Retina and I have the same problem on both setups - no MIDI driver. Both setups have different Virus's (TI Polar 2 and TI Desktop 2) which have sole use of the respective onboard USB buss. I'm a Logic Pro X user and everything is kept up to date. What on earth is going on?
Same here,Virus TI Keyboard-Logic x-Yosemite-iMac---all updatet what the fuck is going on
I back on Virus TI Software Suite 5.0.8.00 and now everithing working
Nice new update access ??????
I too am running updated Virus Control on my MacBook Pro Retina and I have the same problem as many of the people in this thread. Any word on what is wrong with the midi driver?
Any detail on set-ups (for those who haven't specified)?
I'm on a Hexacore 2013 style MacPro and a 2011 13" MacBook Pro. OSX 10.10.3.
Not seeing any problems so far with Ableton.

could you please list your OS version / sequencer version / audio hardware?
thanks, marc
Hi. As I said, everything is up to date - so that will be OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 and Pro X 10.1.1. The iMac uses an Apogee Ensemble Thunderbolt as it's audio interface. The MacBook Pro uses both Apogee One and Duet interfaces (not at the same time!) but for the purposes of updating to the latest version of Virus Control and subsequent failure of its' MIDI driver no external interface was connected. Hope this helps....

I spent a long time downloading and installing the latest software, troubleshooting, reinstalling, troubleshooting, before I found this thread, Wish I had looked earlier.
The latest beta installer kills the MIDI driver. (TI MIDI over usb ability) I have no idea how that happened, but I had to uninstall and revert back to 5.08 (and everything worked fine again)
What a waste of time and effort.
same problem here
Mac mini 16GB RAM USB3 SSD512

Ableton 9.1.7

same here.
MacPro 2009
OSX 10.9.5
RME FireFace 800
Abeton 9.1.9
FW downgrade to 5.1.1 - works
Have also had to drop back to 5.1.1 due to re-installing some stuff and the later beta drivers apparently being pulled. Works OK with a new Sonnet Thunderbolt to USB3 and eSATA adapter, for specific and exclusive use with Virus!
