In the context of the TI features, it is a useless brick if you your system is incompatible. My last compatible system died on me a month ago and now both of my TIs are not getting used.
Were you guys using them as your sound card?

I'm just here to give a middle finger to Access for leaving us hanging. Pains me even more because I just shelled out over a grand to get the motherboard fixed and upgraded. I get it back after almost a year and it's just a useless brick in my setup.
Lame of Access to be silent but “useless brick”?

Try removing midi cables

You’ve tried connecting the polar directly to the synths? If it’s through a midi interface connected to your computer, you should consult the manuals of the interface and daw to make sure you have it setup correctly.
-
Do you see midi activity on the rack synths when you press the polar keys? Could be as simple as a bad midi cable.

The TI2 and Logic never got along very well for me. To use VC most times it took all that you’ve mentioned. I happened to start using Ableton on the same machine(MacBook Pro 2013 high sierra) and all that went away. I know this doesn’t really help your situation but I did want you to know I’ve experienced exactly what you describe.

In fact has anyone tried using Virus TI on win 10 Pro?
Works like a charm on Windows 10 Home Edition for me.

I always had this issue with Logic. It was very annoying. It stopped when I moved over to Ableton.

What’s the MI plug-in?

Google midi program change.

Logic and my Virus never got along well. I had the same issues you list and often. There are threads here in regard to usb hubs. I’ve tried all scenarios with and without hubs and the issues remained. Not that it helps your situation but since moving to Ableton, I get none of those issues.

My snow has never crashed. Not contacting Access just because it’s out of warranty is an odd choice but good luck.

The piano sound in the trailer is the Virus?

Disconnect any MIDI cables and try again if you haven’t already
