I've just done some more testing but on the PC where the VCC still works ... no issue with the reverb.
I loaded the AURA Virus HE So using midi cables and the line outs from the Virus and had the for mentioned no reverb...
I plugged in the USB cable to the Virus and selected the "USB Virus Ti Synth" as the com source and then the reverb worked as should so i can only conclude the issue is with the midi data from the AURA plugin..
Im going to try the MAC setup again shortly
Hi
It maybe the case that I've not been active for quite some time but it appears my once fully open Account / Profile is now only allowed to post on the public area.
Who do i need to contact / message to reactivate ??
Thank you

Hi,
I've just started to use the Ti2 again after a year of 2. I'm using a Mac Mini M2 and the AURA (Mystery Island) Virus editor. I've noticed that the reverb doesn't seem to have any effect on the sound no matter the setting .. I've checked the global reverb/delay ON setting in either position and this makes no change. The delay, Distortion, ring mod & EQ all work fine.
I've checked both manually and through the AURA plugin and no change.
I'm considering firing up the pc and doing a firmware update to see if it wakes the reverb back up ..
Just wondering if anyone else has had the same issue
Thanks in advance Andy R
Just thinking things have been a little quiet from Access of late.
Is there any news of a new version OS???
Been a while since Version 5..
Are you using the standard wave forms ???
If so check out the wave-table options... using these at a few octaves down along side standard waves forms can give endless interesting results.
Try using these as control sources for LFO effects or anything you can imagine for that sound that's a little different.
That's a very smart way to work with the snow !!Thank You!!

If it was a new patch you made yourself have you moved the Phase init to anything but "0" ?
"1" will do, this stops the phasing effect.
Cheers Andy R
Hi both
I think it sounds like there is a very short/close delay giving it a double'd up feel.

Hi
You should be able to use your computers arrow keys in your DAW. Click on a preset from the chosen bank (you should notice the bank turns a gray colour) then use your arrow keys to move through the bank up / down and side to side .
all the best

Sounds like a simple square with a short FILTER and AMP attack (not 0 but low) also a short decay to give it that round feel run it through an arp set to 16 or 32. but modulate the cutoff so as it plays each note the filter opens up slightly. just play single notes.

HI ALL
I was just wondering if anybody had tried and tested using a VIRUS TI through a USB 3.0 connection. I know the connection is downward compatible. I currently use a separate express USB 2.0 hub on my laptop to keep the Virus on its own channel. I wish to buy a USB 3.0 external hard drive for Faster, Smoother WAV file transfer of my samples and such. For this I will need a USB 3.0 express hub. I would then have to plug my Virus through the Spare USB 3.0 port. (My other USB 2.0 ports have lots of things assigned to them so I would rather not use them and go back to the dreaded sync errors).
If anybody has any experience please let me know
Andy R
Hi
you could also try using a none standard wav (i think 10 - 60) for LFO1 or 2 with a long rate 8/1 or 16/1. assign the LFO to something like FREQ SHIFT set to a medium amount. you could use the chorus even the distortion FX. This method will give you movment in your lead sound.
all the best

You can also use the usb's as mono channels to give you 6 idividual channels for processing
I don't get this message but you should try to use a different USB port. Maybe get yourself a PCI (or which ever interface you have) USB HUB just for the virus Ti. don't use a spliter hub (1 USB to 4 USB).

As stated above Is there any update to the laggy GUI. Its not hindering me at the moment but still would like a perfect product like i used to have.
Cheers Andy
anybody else experiencing this?
marc
Hi yes Marc I'm also experiencing lags mostly between Tabs also when changing various controls. This is only in Live 8 at the moment i will have to try Cubase. But this only started happening after OS4 installed. Win XP SP3 x86
Cheers Andy R
I don't think there is an answer. This question has been asked on numerous threads in meny ways. You get a TIMO response "have you read the atomizer manual". But if you do read it it will tell you what every thing does in atomizer but not a workable setup. A video tutorial for different DAWS would be good. I have a feeling that it only works correctly in Logic on a mac. Ableton has timing issues with the Virus Ti which hinders the use of atomizer. I have tried meny different setups with both CUBASE and ABLETON. I can get atomizer to function but i'm unable to record the midi or the effected audio.
GOOD LUCK
