Can someone help me out, please. I am trying to load the free Vengeance Sounds into my TI2, I go through Documents > Access-music > Virus ti > patches, then I put the .mid file in there, but it doesn't show up in virus control when I try to do the burn, am I doing something wrong? I am on Windows 7 and I have the latest version 3.1.0.0.

First off please note that Windows 7 isn't officially supported by us yet - and it isn't even officially out yet!
In other words we can't guarantee this to work on this computer operating system at all for now.I guess it is just a typo of yours, but the patches of the "public libraries" are located in the "My Documents" directory on Windows.
Is the Midi file basically located next to all the other public libraries we install, so the TI and TI2 ROM Backups, the "my patches.mid" file and so on?Also shutting down a computer, waiting for several seconds and then restarting it also can help.
Best wishes,

YAY! it worked! thanks Joerg!!!

Hi I have the same problem, but I'm using the TI snow, win XP and OS4
reset won't help. Is it the snow? i.o.w. is the patch for the 'big' TI's only?
thanx

Confirmed, the free Virus TI soundset found here: http://www.vengeance-sound.com…exes/indexFreeSounds.html
does not show up in VC. I'm on Mac. Any ideas? -

and how do you do that please? -
Open a fresh DAW project, import the MIDI file (you will not see notes, just controller/sysEx data), then export it back again to a MIDI file, while setting "Standard MIDI file type 0" in the export settings. I believe that newer versions of VC recognize both file types, but I could be wrong... And while we are on the subject of downloading patches from the Access site - where did the vuvuzela patch go?

I don't know much about Windows but maybe Windows 7 hadn't been released in August 2009
