Seems like the vast majority of respondents so far like this idea. Any thoughts on our next step towards getting access to answer our prayers?
Who's willing to pay for a New Mac driver inc. M1

No idea. I don’t expect anything to happen if the eleven of us write an email or open a support or sales request.
Maybe spreading a rumor on various SM that the update can be bought directly from Access? If they get thousands of requests (which means hundreds of thousands euros income), that might be an incentive.
But seriously. I have no idea...
Marc would you mind to kindly share some thoughts?

I'd be happy to pay a monthly/yearly membership price for future development with regular updates and feature additions. $5 us a month or $50 / year?

Looks like we haven't heard from Marc since October 2019...

I've had my Virus TI since launch. At this point I'd be happy to crowdfund something to get back on track.
-
I would. €100 max. I don't even care about audio via USB, just give us a plugin to manipulate & save our patches.
yes exactly something like my Moog sub37 1st plugin..I don't give a hoot about the USB audio either and im not feeling mystery island thing..

I would be willing to pay up to $100 US for software updates (new virus control center, suite, full compatibility for the latest Mac OSs, and continued support for a couple years out)
I bought my Polar TI2 over ten years ago now and have enjoyed it immensely, Access really did a great job the first couple years providing updates and tons of new features for free. So have to say thanks for all that! I understand that its just not sustainable for a company to be continually rewriting software updates for free for its legacy products. So yes, I think lots of us will be willing to pay for continued support.
This being said, Access is still selling these synths at the SAME prices new that I paid 10 years ago... and still advertising features that will not work on the latest computers. This is outrageous. If I bought one of these new in 2021 and it didn't work as advertised with my computer, I would be livid.
Access, please PLEASE listen to your core user base and work on some updates!

Acces should work with https://soundtower.com to bring a VST AU editor and leave the usb audio behind, I'm willing to pay 70$ as they usually charge for it.

soundtower ? never ever … crappy sw editors
You guys thought about midiquest ?

Are they really that bad? Was planning on getting their editor for my OB-6.

To be honest: the TI plugin is not essential, but damn handy (USB audio on the other hand, would not be needed)! Would pay for an upgrade for sure. 50-75 euro.
-
I think the makers of the plugin should share the source code of the plugin.
I guess there are enough wizards out there that can easily make it work on Mac Big Sur.
For sure it will never be delivered by Access Virus as an company.
So make it an open source.
That will be great!
-
I would pay for it at this point. Nobody of the company looks at the forums...

I have the Moog Voyager one and it works great.

Can anyone explain to me why they have abandoned software updates for the TI? As many people have suggested, we would be willing to pay for updates...even pay a yearly subscription as the Virus synths are fantastic and the ability to run it as an integrated piece of hard ware in a predominantly software based music system is fantastic. I came to the TI late. I bought mine several years ago and while it worked initially with in my DAW, it now doesn't which I find incredibly disappointing particularly for such a great synth. Any information would be appreciated...certainly any info regarding new drivers for Catalina or Big Sur in particular....cheers

I’m with every one in this forum, please Access team, do something with the Mac OS compatibility as many people has switched to M1 and probably same thing with windows 11. So please we are waiting for a functional update, just that. Please

Virus HE is now compatible with M1. Just abandon the Access ship, like the employees did

Virus HE is the buggiest software I have ever used in my life and I tried to contact the developer to get the crashing sorted but I had no response, It doesn't give me good vibes
